Welcome to the lunch tour!
Antiquarian and project manager Gunilla Gardelin talks about the project together with conservator Åsa Tornborg Medieval environments in the Open-Air Museum of Culture and the work on the design of the Dean's House.
The Dean's House represents a medieval residence for deans and canons, who were priests active in Lund Cathedral. That is why the building was named Dean's House. The house was moved from Kyrkogatan in Lund to the Kulturens Friluftsmuseum in 1908, and was thus preserved. On the second floor of the Dean's House, we have recently recreated a priest's residence from the 1500th century.
NOTE: There is no elevator in the medieval Dean's House and we are therefore unfortunately unable to accommodate wheelchairs, mobility devices or strollers.
Included in the entrance fee, no advance booking. Gathering at the back of the White House (entrance hall). There is a sign indicating where the meeting point is.
