Welcome to an evening out of the ordinary in Lund's city park! No Music and Konvoj Art proudly present their second concert in an ongoing series celebrating Lund's geniuses and madmen. This time, we highlight Christopher Polhem and his revolutionary invention, the dust tube.
Join us on a free dive into the depths of Polhem's thoughts - an audiovisual experience that maybe (just maybe) will make you see Lund with new eyes. Let yourself be swept away by a poetic and abstract tribute to one of the city's most brilliant minds and an extraordinary creation. Don't miss the chance to discover Lund in a new way - a weekday evening roused from its slumber, giddily awakened to madness and musical (?) magic.
We meet at the entrance to Stadsparken, outside the "Mejeriet" on the corner of Stora Södergatan and Gyllenkrok avenue, at 19.00 and head out together into the park for a fluctuation in two acts
PS A boom tube is an acoustic transduction mechanism, constructed as a long, resonant cylinder of lignospheric material, designed to modulate and propagate sonic waveforms through a water medium. By exploiting the quasi-elastic properties of the medium and the reflection properties of the longitudinal waves, the noise tube enables interacoustic communication over subaquatic distances. An extraordinary invention. For logistical reasons, however, there will be no thunder tube on site in the city park. Produced by Konvoj Art and No Music, with support from Lund Municipality.
