A small, withdrawn finance manager, Norlén, at a company must present the company's financial statements in place of the company's CEO, who was suddenly prevented. He never misses a presentation.
Norlén presents the financial statements for a while, but instead of giving an account of the financial statements, he talks about himself, his life and his inability to fit into the community. But above all, he tells about his dizzying love story with another of the company's odd employees, Maria, who disappeared after being frozen out at the workplace.
A passionate love story about a meeting in isolation, which ends with a great betrayal and the revelation of a secret.
