The authority for social protection and preparedness has appointed week 39 every year as a Preparedness week under different themes. In the year 2024, the theme is "Get started".

Since 1914, when it was formed, the Volunteer Automobile Corps, FAK, has been prepared to assist the civil defense with transport with various types of vehicles.
This year we are participating in the preparedness week with an exhibition in Lund on September 28. FAK exhibits vehicles and informs about the activities as a voluntary defense organization.
