Free the seeds

Seeds for what we grow have become “big business” and are threatening the availability of old varieties with genetic diversity. Karin Jansson from Holma Folk High School and Dylan Wallman, researcher at SLU Alnarp, talk about how seeds are produced and what rules apply. They also discuss why old varieties need to be preserved and how we as individuals can support “free” seeds and their products.

Organized in collaboration with the Lund Society for Nature Conservation and the Sustainability Forum at Lund University as part of the spring lecture series on climate and environmental issues.

Free entry, no pre-registration required.
