Baroque music by French masters
This concert features works by various composers from the French Baroque period. This music has its own, special character and is always close to dance. The participating musicians are experienced Baroque musicians who are united by their interest in the high quality and special challenges of French music from the 1600th and 1700th centuries.
The concert is part of an exploratory project led by Rebecka Karlsson, first violinist in the Drottningholm Baroque Ensemble. The project is carried out with support from the Helge Ax:son Johnson Foundation and the Längmanska Cultural Foundation.
