Join us on a stroller tour of the exhibition Public Domain

The stroller tours at Skissernas Museum are perfect for those of you who are on parental leave or have a baby between 0 and 15 months. Together we explore the museum's collection or current exhibitions through engaging stories and conversations about art, accompanied by dinghies, laughter and maybe a few children's screams. The tour is aimed at adults but is adapted to the needs of the group and the children. Babies are welcome to stay in a stroller or baby carrier, and you can of course take a break whenever you want.

This Thursday we take a closer look at Public Domain by the Danish artist group A Kassen. The group often starts from places and conditions that already exist and works with small changes in public space, on buildings or in the infrastructure of architecture. Through repetition, mirroring, displacement and changing proportions, they create works that raise questions about how we perceive our surroundings. Their low-key but effective interventions can sometimes be so discreet that they almost go unnoticed.

The show is held in English and lasts approximately 30 minutes.

Visiting the museum with a baby and stroller

Strollers are welcome in the museum halls, but we ask that you keep baskets and storage spaces empty. For safety reasons, backpacks, tote bags and bags larger than 20 × 30 cm are not allowed in the exhibition halls. Diaper bags are exempt. Please note that food and drinks may not be brought into or consumed in the halls.

There are lockable storage lockers at the entrance. If you do not want to bring your stroller to the viewing, you can leave it in the entrance area. Please ask the staff where it can be placed.

There is also a toilet with a changing table in the entrance area. The museum opens at 11:00, and we recommend that you arrive well in advance of the show so that you have time to take care of any needs before it starts.
