“Finding Home” is a musical interactive children's show with a strong visual component, based on an old Jewish fairy tale.
During the show's interactive moments, the children, along with three mysterious women, will use creative, good deeds to comfort and encourage a boy who has lost his home when his village burned down.
Music is the main means of expression in the performance and contains, among other things, klezmer motifs. The two performers are Elias Faingersh, who plays trombone with live electronics, and Josef Faingersh (12 years old), who plays oboe and sings. The scenography consists of projections on huge balloons and pieces of paper.
