GG AND THE OTHERS
17 October - 22 November
Opening October 17 in connection with Art Night Lund 2026
Opening hours during Art Night 13-22pm
Our mother was completely filled with home furnishings, i.e. “changing things around”. Perhaps every week, or at least once a month, the mighty chiffonier was pushed forward on a rag rug to finally one fine day be lifted over the threshold. Out, out of the house. It never came back. Therefore, I now decide to incarnate as this fat piece of furniture stuffed with stories both accessible and inaccessible.
Astrid Göransson was born in 1956. She lives and works in Maglaby, Skåne and is educated at Konstfack in Stockholm, Malmö Art School Forum and Valand Academy of Fine Arts in Gothenburg. Her art is fundamentally strongly personal and united by an existential and human curiosity that tests itself in the encounter with the strange. Astrid Göransson is noted for her animations and her public works. She also works with installations that include sculpture, animation, drawing and painting. Astrid Göransson is a member of the artist group Aura.
Selected exhibitions: What Resonates Between Us, Alma Löv Museum of Unexpected Art, 2026, Yet Another Morning, Moderna Museet, Stockholm, 2025–2026, The Potato Eaters, Röda Sten Konsthall, Gothenburg, 2025, I Can Picture a Person Living, Eskilstuna Art Museum, 2023–2024, A Field Grows in the City, Malmö Art Gallery, 2022–2023.

ABOUT AVAILABILITY
Krognoshuset is a listed medieval building dating back to around 1300. Due to the building's cultural and historical value and preserved architecture, including narrow and steep stairs, the possibilities for physical adaptation are limited. Full accessibility cannot therefore be offered, which may affect accessibility for some visitors with non-standard functionality. For more information about accessibility, you are welcome to contact us via our email.
PHOTOGRAPHY DURING ART EVENING
During the opening and Art Night, the Aura/Krognoshuset Art Association will be taking photographs for documentation and publication in our social media. If you do not want to be in the picture, please tell our staff. You can also contact us afterwards via our email if you want a published picture of you to be removed.
Visitors are welcome to take photographs in the exhibition. Please tag us and our location on social media, and mention the artist's name Astrid Göransson when publishing images of the artworks.
