Welcome to viewing!
We begin today's tour in Blekingegården, where a prosperous farming family lived in the early 1800th century. How did people live and work back then? What did they eat and how did they maintain their hygiene? Where did they go to the toilet? Then we move on to the newly opened exhibition Skåne peasantry through the artist's eyes. Here, classically magnificent landscape painting from the 1800th century coexists with detailed interiors and naively executed depictions of childhood memories. What does art teach us about life in the countryside 200 years ago? Does it give us a true picture?
Educator Emma Larsson is today's guide.
